By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Prawns (medium), Onions Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Karwari Prawns Sukka 1 cup Prawns (medium) cleaned and deveined 2-3 medium Onions finely chopped tablespoon + to deep fry Oil 1 1 Egg 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch ½ teaspoon Green chilli paste to taste Salt 2 medium Tomatoes finely chopped 8-10 Curry leaves 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder 1½ teaspoons Red chilli powder Method Heat oil to deep fry. Break the egg in a bowl. Add cornflour, chilli paste and salt mix well. Add prawns and mix well. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside. Grind tomatoes, onions, half the curry leaves, black pepper powder and red chilli powder to a fine paste. Add water if required. Heat one tablespoon oil in a pan. Add remaining curry leaves and ground masala and sauté for two to three minutes till the masala is cooked and the oil separates. Add the fried prawns and toss. Transfer into a serving bowl.
