Ingredients list for Italian Bread Pakora

  • 8 Bread slices
  • as required Chilli garlic sauce
  • as required Pizza sauce
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1 medium Tomato chopped
  • 1 Green capsicum chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Oregano
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder

Method

  1. Spread chilli garlic spread on four slices and pizza sauce on the rest of them.
  2. In a bowl mix together onion, tomato, green capsicum, oregano and salt.
  3. Divide it into four equal portions and put it on the breads and cover it with the remaining breads.
  4. In a bow mix together besan, red chilli powder, chaat masala, garam masala powder and salt and mix well.
  5. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai.
  6. Dip the bread slices in the mixture and deep fry them till golden brown in color.
  7. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or chutney.
