By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cabbage, Sichuan Peppers Cuisine Chinese Course Salads Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Hot and Sour Cabbage 1 medium Cabbage cut into 1 inch cubes and layers separated 2 tablespoons Sichuan Peppers 12-15 Sichuan peppers crushed 2 Dried red chillies to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Brown sugar 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce 3 tablespoons Vinegar 1 teaspoon Sesame oil (til oil) Method Advertisment Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add Sichuan peppers and red chillies and sauté for a minute. Add cabbage, mix well and sauté for two minutes. Add salt and brown sugar and sauté for a minute. Add soy sauce, vinegar and sesame oil, mix well and sauté for one to two minutes. Serve hot.
