Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Satay Boneless chicken cubes marinated in Thai marinade and cooked on skewers. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 21 Jan 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken legs, Lemon grass stalk Cuisine Thai Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 1-1.30 hour Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Satay 400 grams Chicken legs boneless, cut into ½ inch cubes 2 inches Lemon grass stalk 3 medium Onions roughly chopped 1 Green chilli sliced 3 Garlic cloves 1 tablespoon Oil 1 tablespoon Soy sauce 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce 2 teaspoons Fish sauce 1 tablespoon Honey 1 teaspoon Sugar to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Sesame oil (til oil) 1/4 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns Method Grind together lemongrass, onions, green chilli, garlic cloves and oil to a smooth paste. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, honey, sugar, salt, sesame oil and crushed peppercorns and grind. Transfer into a bowl. Add chicken cubes and mix well and keep it in the refrigerator to marinate for an hour. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers. Heat sesame oil in a non-stick grill pan, place the chicken skewers and cook, turning the skewers a couple of times, for ten to twelve minutes or till done. Arrange the skewers on a serving plate and serve hot.
