Drain, refresh and set aside. When cool place the blanched garlic and green peppercorns at the base of a sterilized glass jar and set aside. In a separate jar combine dill leaves, bay leaves, salt, sugar, citric acid, cloves and vinegar and stir to mix well. Pour the vinegar mixture over the garlic and green peppercorns, seal the jar tight and set aside for three to four days.
