Ingredients list for EGGLESS WONDER CAKE BATTER
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- 1/2 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 1/4 cup Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/4 cup Milk ,at room temperature
Method
- Preheat the oven at 180℃.
- Take yogurt in a large bowl. Add castor sugar and beat with an electric beater till the sugar melts.
- Gradually add the oil in a thin stream while continuously beating the mixture till well combined.
- Add the vanilla essence and mix.
- Sift the refined flour, baking powder and baking soda directly into the bowl and gently fold in till a smooth batter is formed.
- Transfer the batter into a greased round 6 inch round cake tin. Tap it a few times to remove any air bubbles, place it in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Bring the cake out of the oven and allow to cool slightly. Run a knife along the sides of the cake tin and gently de-mould it on a wire cooling rack.
- Slice or use as required.
