Ingredients list for Curry Leaf Prawns
- 6-8 Jumbo prawns shelled and deveined with tail intact
- 1 cup Curry leaves
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
- 1 cup Bread crumbs fresh
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Dry roast curry leaves in a non-stick pan.
- Put prawns in a bowl, add ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, salt and pepper powder and mix well.
- Transfer the curry leaves in a mixer jar and grind coarsely.
- Mix curry leaves, breadcrumbs, chilli flakes, pepper powder, salt and mix well.
- Coat each prawn in the prepared mixture.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Deep-fry the prawns in hot oil till crisp and brown on both the sides.
- Transfer on a serving plate and serve hot.
