Creamy Cottage Cheese Crostini

Ingredients list for Creamy Cottage Cheese Crostini

  • 3-4 tablespoons Fresh cream
  • 200 grams Paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 1 French loaf
  • 8-10 for garnishing Fresh mint leaves chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 2-3 sprigs Fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Red chilli flakes
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns

Method

  1. Slice the French loaf into 1 inch slices.
  2. Place them on a baking tray and bake at 180°C for 8-10 minutes.
  3. Grate cottage cheese into a bowl. Add cream, chopped mint leaves, coriander leaves, thyme, chopped garlic, chilli flakes, salt and crushed peppercorns. Mix well.
  4. Evenly spread the cottage cheese mixture on the bread slices.
  5. Place them on a serving platter and garnish with mint leaves. Serve immediately.
