Ingredients for Chocolate Sevaiyaan Recipe

  • Vermicelli roasted 100 grams

  • Chocolate Powder malted 3 tablespoons

  • Chocolate grated 1/2 cup

  • Ghee 3 tablespoons

  • Milk 5 cups

  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Saffron (kesar) a few strands

  • Raisins 2 tablespoons

  • Chironji 3 tablespoons

  • Sugar 4 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat 2 tbsps ghee in a non-stick pan. Lightly crush the vermicelli and add to the pan and saute for 2-3 minutes or till they turn light golden.

Step 2

Add milk and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add green cardamom powder, saffron, chocolate powder and grated chocolate to the milk.

Step 3

Heat the remaining ghee in another non-stick pan.

Step 4

Add raisins and chironji and sauté lightly. Add this mixture to the kheer. Add sugar and mix well. Cook till the sugar dissolves. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
