Ingredients for Chilli Pomegranate Sorbet - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Pomegranate juice fresh 4 cups

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Sugar 3/4 cup

  • Black salt (kala namak) 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Black peppercorns crushed 1/2 teaspoon

  • Cumin powder roasted 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon

  • Mint leaves fresh 7-8


Step 1

Heat pomegranate juice in a deep pan, add sugar and mix till sugar dissolves. Add black salt, crushed black peppercorns, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala and chilli powder and mix well.

Step 2

Add a few mint leaves and mix. Cook till the mixture reduces a little bit. Take it off the heat and strain into another bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 3

Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream churner bucket. Place it on the churner and churn it for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Take it out of the ice cream churner and serve immediately. Or transfer into an airtight container and freeze to serve whenever required.
