Ingredients list for Chilli Jam
- 7 Fresh Red Chillies
- 500 grams Tomatoes
- to taste Sea salt
- 2 tablespoons Garlic chopped
- 1 tablespoon Ginger grated
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 cup Vinegar
Method
- Heat a non stick pan, add tomatoes, salt, garlic and ginger. Roughly chop red chillies and add. Mix and cook.
- Add sugar and mix. Add soy sauce and mix again. Add vinegar and mix and continue to cook.
- When half cooked, crush the mixture with a hand blender. Cook till the mixture thickens and get a jam consistency.
- Cool and store in a sterilized bottle and use as and when required.
