Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Cook time : 16-20 minutes

Ingredients for Chicken Dahi Kebab - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Boneless chicken cut into 16 pieces 400 grams

  • Ginger-garlic paste 2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • White pepper powder to taste

  • Hung yogurt 3/4 cup

  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup

  • Processed cheese grated 3/4 cup

  • Chaat masala 1/2 teaspo to sprinkle

  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Nutmeg powder a large pi

  • Green chutney to serve

  • Lemon wedges to serve

  • Onion rings to serve


Step 1

Put ginger-garlic paste, salt, lemon juice, white pepper powder and chicken in a bowl, mix well and set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

Mix together hung yogurt, cream, cheese, white pepper powder, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and salt and mix well

Step 3

Add the marinated chicken pieces and mix well. Keep the bowl in the refrigerator to marinate for 50-60 minutes.

Step 4

Preheat an air fryer to 200° C.

Step 5

String the chicken pieces onto skewers, keep them in the air-fryer basket, fit it to the air-fryer and cook for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the fryer.

Step 6

Arrange the skewers on a serving plate, sprinkle chaat masala over them and serve with green chutney, lemon wedges and onion rings.
