Ingredients list for Cheesy Mashed Potato Toasties

  • 4 Bread slices
  • 1 cup Potatoes mashed
  • 2 tablespoons Cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes

Method

  1. Preheat oven at 180 degree Celsius.
  2. Apply butter on the bread slices. Sprinkle with red chilli flakes and garlic on each side.
  3. Bake for 5 minutes or till the bread is crisp.
  4. Remove from oven and cool slightly.
  5. Evenly spread a portion of mashed potatoes on each slice.
  6. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for 5 -7 minutes or till the cheese melts.
  7. Remove from the oven, trim the edges and cut the sandwich into fingers.
  8. Serve immediately with ketchup.
