Ingredients list for Chawal Ke Pakode

  • 2 cups Cooked Rice
  • 2 large Gram Flour
  • 1 1/2 inch piece Ginger
  • 1/4 cup Fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • to taste Salt
  • 4 Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala

Method

  1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Chop onions, ginger and mint leaves in a chopper.
  2. Put rice in a bowl, add onion-ginger-mint leaves mixture, gram flour, salt, green chillies and chaat masala and mix well.
  3. Shape into medium sized balls and slide into hot oil. Deep fry till golden and crisp.
  4. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
