Ingredients list for Chatpate Potato Bites

  • 4 medium Potatoes cut into wedges
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 cup Fresh coriander leaves roughly chopped
  • 10-15 Mint leaves
  • 1 inch piece Ginger roughly chopped
  • 5-6 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Method

  1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep fry the potato wedges on medium heat till golden and crisp.
  2. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside.
  3. Grind coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger and garlic with sufficient water to a fine paste.
  4. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan.
  5. Add the red chilli flakes and ground paste, mix well and sauté for three to four minutes.
  6. Add the fried potatoes, salt and lemon juice and cook for two minutes more.
  7. Serve hot.
