Ingredients list for Chatpata Bhutta

  • 4 Corn corb
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • ½ teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar/jaggery
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Mint leaves chopped
  • as required Butter
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180º C. Line a baking tray with a silicon mat.
  2. Put chili flakes, crushed peppercorns, chili powder, brown sugar, lemon juice, coriander leaves and mint leaves in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Line the worktop with an aluminum foil, place corn cobs and spread some chili-sugar mixture and butter on top. Sprinkle some salt on top and wrap them individually with foil.
  4. Place the wrapped corn cobs on the lined baking tray. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven, unwrap and serve immediately.
