Ingredients list for Causa de Atun
- 2 cups Potatoes mashed
- 1 cup Tuna tinned
- 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
- 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 small Onion chopped
- 1 tablespoon Fresh jalapeno paste
- 1 Egg hard boiled and sliced
- 8-10 Black olives sliced
Method
- Combine potatoes, salt, crushed peppercorns and parsley in a bowl and mix well.
- Combine tuna, mayonnaise, onion, jalapeno paste salt in another bowl and mix well.
- Place a large ring mould on a serving plate. Add the potato mixture in it and level it out. Spread a layer of tuna mixture on top and remove the ring mould.
- Garnish with boiled egg slices and black olives and serve immediately.
