Ingredients list for Carrot Halwa with Rose
- 2 cups Carrot grated
- 3 cups Milk
- 5 tablespoons Ghee
- 3/4 cup Jaggery (gur) grated
- 1/2 cup Mixed nuts
- 1 cup Khoya/mawa grated
- 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 2 teaspoon Rose water
- a few strands Saffron (kesar)
Method
- Heat ghee in a non stick pan add carrots and saute for five minutes.
- Add milk and cook till milk is absorbed.
- Add jaggery, khoya, cardamon powder, rose water and saffron and saute for a minute.
- Serve hot.
