Ingredients list for Bajra Aloo Roti

  • 1 1/4 cups Millet flour (bajre ka atta)
  • 2 medium Potatoes boiled and peeled
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder

Method

  1. Mix bajra atta, salt, carom seeds, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chillii powder in a bowl.
  2. Grate potatoes into it. Add enough hot water and knead into a medium soft dough.
  3. Heat a non stick tawa. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into balls.
  4. Flatten them and spread into small thick rotis.
  5. Place them on the tawa and cook on medium heat.
  6. Serve hot or warm with a chutney of your choice.
