Method

  1. Take warm milk in a bowl, add saffron and mix well.
  2. Take butter in another bowl and beat with an electric beater till light. Add icing sugar and beat till light and fluffy.
  3. Add refined flour, green cardamom powder and salt and mix well. Further continue to beat with the electric beater till well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.
  5. Line a greased baking tray with parchment paper and pipe small portions of the mixture on it keeping sufficient distance between each.
  6. Sprinkle pistachios on top and freeze for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 180° C.
  8. Keep the tray with the cookies in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Bring the tray out of the oven and allow to cool.
  10.  Store in an airtight container or serve in a serving bowl.
