Ingredients
- 3-4 canned pineapple slices, roughly chopped
- 2-3 fresh red chillies, chopped
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup pineapple water from the can
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- ½ cup canned pineapple juice
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika powder
Method
- Transfer the pineapple into a blender jar and grind to fine paste
- Heat a pan, add sugar, pineapple water from the can, red chillies, garlic and pineapple juice and mix well.
- Add ground pineapple and paprika powder, mix and cook on medium heat, stirring continuously till the mixture thickens.
- Allow to cool and serve.
