Ingredients
- 1 medium muskmelon
- A pinch of salt
- ½ lemon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
Method
- Peel, remove the seeds and cut muskmelon into ½ inch pieces. Transfer them into a zip lock bag and freeze for 6-8 hours.
- Transfer the frozen melon into a grinder jar, add salt and squeeze the juice of lemon.
- Add vanilla essence, maple syrup and ½ cup water and grind coarsely.
- Transfer into an airtight container, cover and freeze for 3-4 hours.
- Scoop out into serving bowls, garnish with mint sprigs and serve chilled.
