Ingredients
- 10-15 Pro V Dates (khajur)
- 10-15 Pro V Regal Jumbo Walnuts (akhrot)
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder
- ¼ cup cornflour
Method
- Take Pro V Dates in a bowl, add sufficient water and soak for 4-5 hours. Remove the seeds and transfer into a grinder jar. Add ½ cup of the water in which the dates were soaked and grind to fine paste.
- Chop Pro V Regal Jumbo Walnuts.
- Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a shallow non-stick pan, add the dates paste and cook stirring continuously for 2 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon ghee, mix well and cook till the mixture thickens.
- Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Add walnuts, mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Mix cornflour with ¾ cup water and add to the pan. Mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture into greased glass casserole, level the surface and let it set for 3-4 hours.
- Unmould, cut into squares, arrange them on a serving platter and serve.
