Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped dark chocolate
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
- ¾ cup + 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 4 tablespoons milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 180º C.
- Take butter in a large bowl and beat with an electric beater. Add honey and continue to beat till the mixture turns light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla essence and beat till well combined. Sift the whole wheat flour directly into the bowl and mix well.
- Add milk and mix till everything comes together and forms a dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into a ball and flatten them slightly. Place them at equidistance on a baking tray. Sprinkle some chopped chocolate over each cookie and press lightly.
- Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Bring the tray out of the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely.
- Arrange them on a serving plate and serve.
