Chocolate Atta Cookies

Chocolate cookies are everyone's favourite, but here's a healthier version in which the cookies are made using whole wheat flour. Kiddos and parents dono khush.

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180º C.
  2. Take butter in a large bowl and beat with an electric beater. Add honey and continue to beat till the mixture turns light and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla essence and beat till well combined. Sift the whole wheat flour directly into the bowl and mix well.
  4. Add milk and mix till everything comes together and forms a dough. 
  5. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into a ball and flatten them slightly. Place them at equidistance on a baking tray. Sprinkle some chopped chocolate over each cookie and press lightly. 
  6. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Bring the tray out of the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely.
  8. Arrange them on a serving plate and serve.
