Ingredients
- 1 corn on the cob
- Salt to taste
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
Method
- Cut the corn on the cob into 2-inch pieces and put them in a pressure cooker. Add 1 cup water, salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Cover the cooker and cook under pressure on medium heat for 3 whistles.
- Open the cooker once the pressure has reduced completely. Drain the corn pieces and keep them in a bowl to cool slightly.
- Use a compartmental tiffin box to pack the tiffin. Keep the corn piece in a cup cake liner and keep it in one of the smaller compartments. Place 2 figs by the side for added nutrients.
