Ingredients
- 2 cups rice flour + for dusting
- Salt to taste
- White sesame seeds as required
Method
- Sift rice flour and salt in a large bowl. Add 1¼ cups warm water and knead into a soft dough.
- Divide dough into 4 portions and shape each portion into a ball.
- Dust the worktop with a little rice flour. Flatten each portion of the dough on the worktop and roll it into a disc with your fingers. This is a bhakri.
- Heat a non-stick tawa till medium hot and place the bhakri on it.
- As it is being cooked, apply water on the topside of the bhakri and sprinkle white sesame seeds. Flip it and cook the other side similarly.
- Make more bhakri similarly.
- The bhakri should be soft and fluffy. Serve hot.
