Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons cumin seeds
 - 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
 - 2 bay leaves
 - 4 tablespoons fennel seeds (saunf)
 - 6-8 green cardamoms
 - 3 dried red chillies
 
Method
- Heat a pan, add cumin seeds, coriander seeds and bay leaves in a pan till fragrant. Transfer into a plate and allow to cool.
 - Add fennel seeds, green cardamoms and dried red chillies in the same pan and dry roast till fragrant. Transfer into the same plate and allow to cool.
 - Put the cooled roasted spices into a mixer jar and grind to a fine powder.
 - Transfer the masala into a jar. Use as required.
