Banana Chips

If you are someone who’s obsessed with banana chips but avoid them because they are deep- fried, then this recipe is just for you. For here the chips are air fried with minimum oil and can be devoured without feeling guilty.

Ingredients

Method 

  1. Peel and thinly slice raw bananas using a slicer.
  2. Take sufficient water in a bowl, add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix well. Add sliced bananas and soak for 30 minutes.
  3. Transfer the slices on a kitchen towel in a single layer, place another kitchen towel over them and pat dry.
  4. Transfer into a bowl. Add coconut oil, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  5. Preheat the air fryer at 150° C for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Arrange the slices in a single layer in air fryer basket, fit it into the air fryer and air fry for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Bring the basket out and allow to cool. Cook the remaining slices similarly.
  8. Transfer the chips into a serving bowl and serve.
