Method
- Heat a non-stick pan, add ¾ cup sugar and ½ cup water, mix well and cook till the syrup reaches ½ string consistency.
- Heat ghee in a pan, add khoya and cook on low heat till khoya turns golden brown.
- Add remaining sugar and mix well and cook till sugar dissolves.
- Add ¾ of the sugar syrup and mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased burfi tray and spread evenly. Set aside to cool completely.
- Take the remaining sugar syrup in a bowl and sugar balls in another bowl.
- Cut the mithai into rectangles, dip in remaining sugar syrup and roll in sugar balls.
- Arrange them on a serving tray and serve.
