Ingredients
- 2 cups boiled pearl millet (bajra)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- 1 cup vegetable stock
- 2-3 tablespoons fresh cream
- 2-3 fresh thyme sprigs + for garnish
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese powder
Method
- Heat olive oil and butter in a non-stick wok, add garlic, mix and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add onion, mix and sauté till translucent.
- Add pearl millet and mix well. Add salt and crushed black peppercorns and mix well.
- Add vegetable stock and mix well. Add fresh cream, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add thyme and parmesan cheese powder, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer onto a serving plate, sprinkle thyme and serve hot.
