Ingredients
- 2 avocados
- ½ sourdough bread loaf
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Cream cheese for applying
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- Salt to taste
- Pickled onion rings for garnish
- 4 tablespoons ProV Healthy Seed Mix
- Micro greens for garnish
- Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
Method
- Cut the sourdough bread loaf into thick slices.
- Heat a cast iron pan, add butter and let it melt. Place the sourdough slices in the pan and toast on both sides on low heat for 2-3 minutes or till golden and crisp. Take slices off the heat and arrange in a serving plate.
- Halve the avocados, remove the seeds, peel and cut each half into thin slices.
- Apply some cream cheese over one side of the toasted bread slices. Arrange the avocado slices over them and sprinkle crushed black peppercorns and salt.
- Top with pickled onion rings. Sprinkle ProV Healthy Seed Mix, garnish with micro greens and drizzle extra virgin olive oil. Serve immediately.
