Wheat Dosa By Sanjeev Kapoor 29 Jul 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Whole wheat flour, Rice flour Cuisine TamilNadu Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Wheat Dosa 1 cup Whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon Rice flour a pinch Asafoetida (hing) to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Grated ginger 1 teaspoon Green chillies chopped 5-6 Curry leaves 1 teaspoon Cilantro chopped 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder 1 small Onion finely chopped 1/2 cup Carrots grated 3 teaspoons Yogurt 3 tablespoons Oil Method In a bowl combine together whole wheat flour, rice flour, asafoetida, salt, ginger, green chillies, cilentro, roasted cumin seeds, onions, carrots, yogurt and sufficient water and make a thick consistancy batter. Heat oil in a non stick tawa and pour a laddleful of batter on it and spread it in a circular motion as thin as possible. Drizzle a little oil all around and let the dosa cook on medium heat. When ready the edges will begin to separate from the tawa.
