Ingredients list for Vodka Cupcakes

  • ? cup Vodka
  • 1¼ cups Refined flour (maida)
  • 1½ teaspoons Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Butter
  • ¾ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg white
  • ½ cup Milk


  1. Preheat oven to 180° C. Place silicon cupcake moulds on a baking tray and line them with paper cases.
  2. Sieve flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
  3. Cream together butter and castor sugar in another bowl with an electric beater. Add vanilla essence and whisk well.
  4. Break 1 egg into the bowl and whisk. Add egg white and whisk. Add vodka and whisk well. Add flour mixture and fold in well. Add milk and mix well into a smooth batter.
  5. Fill a piping bag with this batter and pipe it out into the lined silicon cupcake moulds filling ¾ of it.
  6. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven, cool and demould.
  7. Serve.
