Ingredients for Veggie Pizza-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Readymade pizza dough 400 grams

  • Mozzarella cheese grated 6 tablespoons

  • 3 coloured capsicums cut into strips 1/4 cup

  • Cherry tomatoes sliced 3-4

  • Corn kernels 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Button mushrooms sliced 3-4

  • Black olives sliced 3-4

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for greasing

  • Refined flour (maida) for dusting

  • Pizza sauce for dus 2 tablespoons

  • Dried mixed herbs to sprinkle

  • Red chilli flakes to sprinkle

  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh basil leaves 5-6

  • Fresh basil sprig for garnish

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray with some oil.

Step 2

Dust the worktop with some flour, place the dough on it, roll out into a thick disc and place on the greased tray.

Step 3

Prick the pizza base all over. Spread pizza sauce on it and top with 2 tablespoons cheese, capsicum strips, cherry tomato halves, corn kernels, mushrooms and olives.

Step 4

Sprinkle some mixed herbs and chilli flakes. Drizzle olive oil. Place basil leaves and sprinkle remaining cheese. .

Step 5

Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Step 6

Garnish with basil sprig, cut into wedges and serve hot.
