Ingredients list for Vegetable Lo Mein
- 250 grams Spaghetti boiled
- 1 cup Carrot grated
- 1/2 cup Bean sprouts
- 2 teaspoons Sesame oil
- 2-3 Spring onion bulbs
- 1/2 medium Onion
- 1 tablespoon Garlic crushed
- 1 tablespoon Ginger grated
- 1 teaspoon Hoisin sauce
- to taste Salt
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- for garnishing Spring onion greens roughly chopped
Method
- Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan.
- Slice spring onions and onion and add to the pan and sauté till lightly browned.
- Add garlic and ginger and mix well. Add carrot and mix well.
- Add spaghetti, hoisin sauce and salt and mix well. Add crushed peppercorns and mix well. Add bean sprouts and mix well. Add 2 tbsps water and toss well. Cook for few minutes.
- Transfer onto a serving plate, garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
