Ingredients
- 2 small tomatoes chopped
- 1 teaspoon split black gram skinless
- 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal)
- 3 dried red chillies broken
- 1 a pinch asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds, split black grams, red chillies and asafoetida.
- When the seeds begin to splutter add the tomatoes and red chili powder and sauté for about five minutes over a low heat.
- Set aside to cool completely Add the yogurt and salt and mix well.
- Serve cold.
