Ingredients list for Tex Mex Chilli Sandwich-SK Khazana
- 2 Boneless chicken breasts
- 8 Brown bread slices
- 1/2 cup Tomato puree
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Garlic-green chilli paste
- 2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons Paprika
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 4 tablespo for drizzling Mayonnaise
- a few Mixed salad leaves
- to serve French fries
Method
- Mix together tomato puree, brown sugar, salt, crushed peppercorns, garlic-green chilli paste, tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and paprika in a bowl.
- Add chicken breasts, mix well and set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil and butter in a non-stick grill pan. Place marinated chicken breasts in it and grill, turning sides, till fully cooked and evenly done on both sides. Remove from heat and cut into slices.
- Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on 4 bread slices. Top with some mixed salad leaves and some grilled chicken slices.
- Drizzle some more mayonnaise on top, cover with remaining bread slices and halve.
- Serve immediately with French fries.
