Ingredients list for Surti Papdi Pulao
- 1/2 cup Surti Papdi broken into 2 pieces
- 1 cup Rice
- 1 1/2 cups Rice soaked and drained
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 1 inch Cinnamon stick
- 5-6 Cloves
- 1 inch Ginger finely chopped
- 2-3 Green chillies
- to taste Salt
- Juice of ¼ lemon
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick kadai, add cinnamon, cloves and ginger. Slit green chillies and add and sauté till fragrant.
- Add surti papdi, surti papdi dane, rice, salt, lemon juice and 3 cups water and mix well.
- Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or till rice is cooked.
- Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
