Ingredients list for Stuffed Mirchi with Tamarind filling ke Pakode
- 5-6 Big Green chillies
- 1/4 cup Tamarind pulp
- For Batter
- 1/2 cup Gram flour
- to taste Salt
- For Filling
- Oil 3 teaspoon + to deep fry
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/4 cup Roasted chana dal powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 2-3 teaspoons Jaggery
- to taste Salt
Method
- Mix gram flour and salt in a bowl. Add sufficient water to make a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add tamarind pulp, cook for five minutes.
- Add turmeric, chana dal powder, garam masala and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Slit the chillies and remove the seeds. Fill the tamarind mixture and set aside.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kaai. Dip the chillies in the besan mixture and deep fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
