Ingredients list for Spaghetti Lo Mein
- 2 cups Spaghetti , boiled
- 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Garlic , chopped
- 1 inch Ginger , finely chopped
- 3-4 Spring onion bulbs , quartered
- 1 medium Carrot , peeled and cut into diamonds
- to taste Salt
- 4-5 Button mushrooms , quartered
- to taste Black peppercorns , crushed
- 1/4 cup Bean sprouts
- 1 teaspoon Fresh parsley , chopped
- 1-2 stalks Spring onion greens , sliced
- to garnish Fresh parsley sprig
Method
- Heat sesame oil in a non-stick wok, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add ginger, mix and sauté till raw smells disappear.
- Add spring onion bulbs, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add carrot, mix and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add 2-3 tablespoons water, mix and cook for 1 minute. Add salt, mix and cook for 1 minute.
- Add button mushrooms, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add spaghetti, salt and crushed peppercorns, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add bean sprouts, parsley and spring onion greens, toss and cook for 1 minute.
- Transfer into a serving dish, garnish with parsley sprig and serve hot.
