Soyabean Granules Sabzi Protein-rich soya granules cooked in a simple tomato-onion semi-dry version. Tastes great even with chapatis or stuff between bread slices for a variation of sandwich. By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Jul 2014 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Tomatoes, Bread slices Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 200 grams soyabean granules 2 cups warm milk 3 tablespoons oil 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 3 medium onions, finely chopped 1 tablespoon ginger-green chilli paste 3 medium tomatoes, chopped 1 teaspoon red chilli powder ½ teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste ¼ cup chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnish Method Wash soyabean granules with lukewarm water. Drain and then soak in warm milk for ½ hour. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds. When they start to change colour, add onions and sauté till golden brown. Add ginger-green chilli paste and cook for ½ minute. Add tomatoes and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Cook till the oil separates. Add soyabean granules and mix well. Cover and cook till soya granules are cooked. These normally take about 10 minutes. Add a little water if required. Add salt and cook till it is almost dry.
