Ingredients list for Soya Delight
- 500 grams Soya Granules
- 2 medium Tomato Puree
- 2-3 medium Potatoes, peeled
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Black peppercorns, crushed
- 1 cup Tomato puree
- 1/4 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1/4 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 2-3 Green chilli, chopped
Method
- Slice onions. Slice potatoes and soak them in a bowl of water.
- Lightly coat the sides of a microwave safe bowl with a little oil and butter.
- Arrange the potatoes and onions, sprinkle salt, ½ tsp red chilli powder and crushed black peppercorns on top.
- Place soya granules over the mixture and spread evenly. Pour tomato puree on top of the mixture.
- Sprinkle some of the remaining red chilli powder, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, remaining oil and butter, cumin powder, coriander leaves and repeat all the above once.
- Add green chillies to it. Cover the bowl with cling film, make a few holes with a sharp knife and keep it in a microwave.
- Cook for 15-18 minutes. Remove from the microwave, mix everything lightly and serve hot.
