Ingredients list for Sev and Garlic Sandwich
- Nylon sev as required
- 20-25 cloves garlic
- 8 brown bread slices
- 2 tablespoons oil + for greasing
- 10 slices pickled jalapenos
- 3 tablespoons hung yogurt
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic cloves and saute them on medium heat till they are golden brown.
- Transfer them into a chopper jar and let them cool down. Add jalapenos, hung yogurt and salt and chop finely.
- For each sandwich take 2 bread slices and spread this mixture over them. Spread a generous layer of sev on one slice and cover with the second slice.
- Grease a sandwich toaster with a little oil, place a sandwich in it, close and grill over medium heat, turning sides, till both sides turn golden and crisp.
- Halve each sandwich diagonally, place them on a serving platter and serve hot.
