Ingredients list for Sea Food Stew With Burnt Chillies And Saffron

  • 100 grams Rawas cubed
  • 100 grams Dried Red Chillies shelled and deveined
  • 100 grams Clams, cleaned
  • 2-3 Dried red chillies
  • a few saffron strands soaked in 2 tablespoon milk
  • 4-5 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 8-10 Garlic cloves lightly mashed
  • 15-16 Shallots peeled
  • 1 medium Tomato finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
  • to taste Salt
  • 8-10 Fresh basil leaves finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Lemon zest grated


  1. Heat olive oil in a non stick pan.
  2. Add garlic, dried red chillies and sauté till fragrant.
  3. Add shallots, tomato, black peppercorns and sauté.
  4. Add fish fillet, prawns, clams and cook. Add salt, basil leaves, lemon zest and saffron soaked in milk.
  5. Mix well. Serve with steamed rice or bread.
