Ingredients list for Schezwan Cheese Fritters
- 1 cup Processed Cheese grated
- 2 teaspoons Schezwan Chutney
- 1 cup Onions chopped
- 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
- 1/4 cup Spring onions chopped
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- as required Buttermilk
- to deep fry Oil
- as required Red chilli sauce
- as required Fresh parsley
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Put grated cheese in a bowl, add refined flour, baking soda, onions, spring onions, garlic, schezwan chutney and sufficient buttermilk and mix to make a dough. And salt and mix.
- Shape the mixture into quenelles with 2 teaspoons, slide into hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Put a little red chilli sauce in a small plate. Place the fritters over the sauce, garnish with a little parsley and serve hot.
