  • 4 readymade samosas
  • 8 white bread slices
  • 8 teaspoons butter + to toast
  • 8 teaspoons green chutney
  • 2 medium onions, cut into rings
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 cheese slices
  • Tamarind chutney to drizzle
  • Nylon sev to sprinkle
  • Freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnish


  1. Apply butter on bread slices followed by green chutney. Press the samosas lightly and place on 4 bread slices. 
  2. Place a few onion rings and tomato roundels. Sprinkle salt and place a slice of cheese and cover with the remaining bread slices.
  3. Heat a non-stick tawa. Add some butter, place the prepared sandwiches and apply some more butter on top.
  4. Cook till golden brown and crisp on both the sides. Cut into quarters. Drizzle tamarind chutney and green chutney.
  5. Sprinkle sev and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
