Ingredients
- 4 readymade samosas
- 8 white bread slices
- 8 teaspoons butter + to toast
- 8 teaspoons green chutney
- 2 medium onions, cut into rings
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- Salt to taste
- 4 cheese slices
- Tamarind chutney to drizzle
- Nylon sev to sprinkle
- Freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Method
- Apply butter on bread slices followed by green chutney. Press the samosas lightly and place on 4 bread slices.
- Place a few onion rings and tomato roundels. Sprinkle salt and place a slice of cheese and cover with the remaining bread slices.
- Heat a non-stick tawa. Add some butter, place the prepared sandwiches and apply some more butter on top.
- Cook till golden brown and crisp on both the sides. Cut into quarters. Drizzle tamarind chutney and green chutney.
- Sprinkle sev and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
