By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Oats, Sprouted moong Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Roasted Oats And Moong Toasts 1/2 cup Oats roasted 1/2 cup Sprouted moong boiled 8 slices Brown bread 1 tablespoon Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon Chaat masala to taste Salt 4 Lettuce leaves refreshed 2 teaspoons Butter Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and when they change, add moong sprouts and saute for two minutes. Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala and salt and mix well. Add oats and half cup water and cook for two to three minutes. Arrange four bread slices on a worktop and place lettuce leaves on them. Spread the sprout mixture evenly over them. Cover with remaining four slices. Apply butter on top and grill in a sandwich griller till golden brown. Cut into triangles and serve with tomato ketchup.
