Ingredients for ROLLED CHEESE OMELETTE - skk Recipe

  • Eggs 12

  • Processed cheese grated 8 tablespo For topping

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 4 tablespoons

  • Medium onions finely chopped 2

  • Button mushrooms finely chopped 12-16

  • Medium tomatoes finely chopped 2

  • Green chillies finely chopped 2-3

  • Spinach shredded 8 tablespoons

  • White bread slices toasted 8 to serve


Step 1

For each portion, break 3 eggs into a bowl, add salt and beat well.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan, add ¼ onions, ¼ mushrooms and ¼ tomato, salt and green chillies, mix and sauté for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Add beaten eggs, mix and cook for 30 seconds.

Step 4

Add 2 tablespoons cheese and 2 tablespoons spinach, roll into an omelette and cook till fully done. Cut into 2 equal pieces.

Step 5

Keep 2 toasted white bread slices on a serving plate, keep a piece of omelette on each toast, sprinkle some more cheese on top and serve immediately.
