This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Oats , Yogurt Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Quick Oatmeal Uttapam 1 cup Oats 1/2 cup Yogurt a pinch Asafoetida 1 cup Yogurt 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder a pinch Soda bicarbonate 1 inch pie Ginger finely chopped 1 medium Onion finely chopped 1/4 medium Green capsicum finely chopped to taste Salt for cookin Oil 2-3 stalks Spring onion greens trimmed Method Grind together oats, suji and asafoetida and transfer into a bowl. Add yogurt, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, soda, ginger and water as required to make a thick batter. Keep aside for 10-15 minutes. Add onion, green capsicum and salt and mix well. Heat a non stick tawa. Spread a little oil with a tissue paper.Spread a ladleful of the batter on the tawa and drizzle a little oil around it. When the underside is golden, flip and cook on the other side similarly. Arrange spring onion greens on a serving plate and transfer the uttapams on it.
