Ingredients list for Pull Apart Pav Sandwich - SK Khazana
- 4 Pavs
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 cup Onion paste
- 1/2 cup Tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon Pav bhaji masala
- 2 Large potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
- to taste Salt
- For topping Mozzarella cheese grated
Method
- Preheat oven to 180º C.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion paste and sauté well.
- Add tomato puree, mix well and bring to a boil. Add chilli powder and pav bhaji masala, mix well and cook for a minute.
- Add potatoes and mix well. Add salt, mix well and cook for a minute. Remove from heat and set aside.
- For each sandwich, take 2 pavs, make 1 lengthwise slit and 6 slits perpendicular to it without cutting through. Stuff the potato mixture into all the slits. Top with generous amount of cheese.
- Place them on a baking tray, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.
- Serve hot.
